Why See a Dietitian?

In Australia, there are a variety of nutrition professionals you could see, including dietitians, nutritionists, health coaches and naturopaths. The majority of these professions aren't regulated and can have limited qualifications. The Accredited Practising Dietitian (APD) credential means the person you are seeing has completed an approved dietetics degree from an Australian university. To maintain this credential, members commit to ongoing training and education throughout their careers, meaning that you receive up-to-date, evidence-based care to improve your health and wellbeing. In addition, as accredited health practitioners, dietetics services are typically covered under "extras" policies with private health providers.

Why Choose Telehealth?

Accessible healthcare

We know that those in regional and remote areas of Australia are more likely to struggle with their weight and metabolic health, and yet are least likely to be able to access high quality allied health care to address these issues.
